I worked mostly as a Project Manager on this job.
They are a consulting and documentation company, and they wanted a unique look and feel to the site. The company leadership really wanted to use some recently acquired art on the front page, so the designer created the site around the art. It was mostly a brochure site, but the end product was reasonably striking.
